How it works

One student, one studio, everything provided.

Most New York courses run fifteen students, two days and one mannequin head each. You leave certified and still can't isolate a lash on a live client. We teach one person at a time, in our studio, with every material you need already on the table.

Where At our studio 1019 Avenue P, Suite 703. Adjustable bed, professional lighting, and our full product range to work with before you spend money on a kit.
Materials Everything is provided Lashes, adhesive, tweezers, tiles and aftercare are all supplied for the training day. You don't need to buy anything to start.
По-русски Обучение на русском Занятие проходит на русском или английском — как вам удобнее. Индивидуально, один ученик, все материалы предоставляются.

Class size is one, so dates fill a few weeks out. Weekends and evenings are possible — we schedule around you.

How a training day runs

Your hands get corrected in the moment.

If your isolation is wrong on day one, you find out on day one — not on your fourth paying client.

  1. Theory first: anatomy, the shed cycle, safety and who you must turn away.
  2. Mannequin work until the motion is right — isolation, then placement.
  3. Live model, watched lash by lash, with corrections as you go.
  4. Photography, pricing and aftercare scripts, so the skill can earn.

Bring nothing: every material for the day is provided. If you already own tweezers or a product you're using, bring it and we'll tell you honestly whether it's holding you back.

Curriculum

What's covered.

Take the modules together, or book only the one you need. Working artists usually come for volume or the UV-cured technique alone.

Module 01Foundation
1 day
  • Eye and lash anatomy, growth cycles, and why retention is mostly biology
  • Sanitation, patch testing, and the contraindications you must turn away
  • Isolation — the skill that separates a working artist from a certificate holder
  • Classic 1:1 application: placement, direction, base distance
  • Lash mapping — doll, cat, open, kitten, and how to read a face
  • Adhesive chemistry and why your glue behaves differently in August
Module 02Volume
1 day
  • Handmade fan technique, wide and narrow base
  • Weight math — building a fan a fine natural lash can actually carry
  • Hybrid mapping for sparse and uneven lash lines
  • Mega volume, and when to say no to it
  • Speed drills that don't cost you accuracy
Module 03UV-cured technique
Half day
  • Flash-cured application and how it changes your working speed
  • Rewriting your aftercare instructions — no 24-hour rule
  • Equipment, lamp choice and safe operating distance
  • What to tell a client about it, including the allergy conversation
Module 04Business
Half day
  • Pricing, so you're not the cheapest artist on the block by accident
  • Booking software setup and deposit policy
  • Photographing your work so the photos actually book clients
  • Aftercare scripts and the "my lashes fell out" message

Training is priced per student and per module, with all materials included. Tell us what you want and you'll get a straight number, not a range.

Private treatment room used for one-on-one lash training at DEEPINLASH, Brooklyn

The room your training day happens in.

What you leave with

A working skill, and the hours behind it.

  • Live model practice — real eyes, real corrections, not only mannequin hours
  • Every material used during training is provided — tweezers, adhesive, tiles, trays and aftercare
  • A certificate of completion
  • Your photos from the training day, shot properly for your portfolio
  • Direct message access for follow-up questions — and we answer them

Who this is for

Come in at any level.

  • Licensed estheticians and cosmetologists adding lashes to the menu
  • Nail techs and brow artists expanding a service list
  • Working lash artists who want volume or UV technique specifically
  • Career changers — start at Foundation, and check licensing first

New York State regulates who may perform lash extensions on a paying client. A certificate of completion — ours or anyone else's — is not a state license. Ask us before you book and we'll tell you plainly what your situation requires.

Honest expectations

You will not be fast after training.

Nobody is. Your first ten sets will take three hours, and somewhere around set four you'll question your life choices. That's normal, and it isn't a sign you chose wrong.

Speed comes from repetition. The point of training is making sure that repetition builds a correct habit instead of grinding a bad one into place.

What training buys you isn't speed. It's not having to unlearn anything.

Before you book

Training questions.

How many students are in a class?

One. Every training date is booked for a single student, which is why dates fill a few weeks out.

Where does the training happen?

At our studio — 1019 Avenue P, Suite 703 in Brooklyn. You work at a proper lash bed with professional lighting, and every material for the day is already there.

Do I need to buy materials?

No. Everything used during the training is provided — lashes, adhesive, tweezers, tiles, trays and aftercare. You try our full product range before you spend money on your own kit.

Do I get a certificate?

You get a certificate of completion. Be clear on what that is: proof you completed the training, not a New York State license. Ask us about licensing before you book and we'll explain what applies to you.

Do I need experience to start?

No. Complete beginners start at Foundation. Working artists usually skip to the Volume or UV-cured module — tell us where you are and we'll build the day around it.

Will I practise on a real person?

Yes. Mannequin work builds the motion, live model work builds the skill. Both are part of the training, and we can arrange the model.

What does it cost?

It depends on which modules you take. Materials are included. Call us with the modules you want and you'll get an exact price and the next open dates.

What language is it taught in?

Russian or English, whichever you prefer. Обучение на русском — без проблем.

Class size is one

We'll come back with dates and a price.

Tell us two things: your current license status, and whether you want classic, volume or both. Everything else — materials, model, the lash bed — is on us.
