Bridal lash extensions in Brooklyn

Trial three to four weeks out, the real set three to five days before. Not the day before, not two weeks before — and here is exactly why the dates matter more than the density.

From $120 · 90 minutes · Free mapping · Russian & English

The short answer

When to book bridal lashes, and what they cost.

Book a trial set three to four weeks before the wedding and the real set three to five days before, at DEEPINLASH, 1019 Avenue P, Suite 703 in Brooklyn 11223. Sets run $120 to $180 depending on density, take about 90 minutes, and free lash mapping comes with every appointment. Three to five days is the window where the set is still at full density on the day but you have already lived in it long enough to know it is right — and there is still time to adjust if it is not.

The timeline

Timing is the whole job.

Density you can change in the chair. Dates you cannot. Almost every bridal lash problem we hear about is a scheduling problem wearing a styling costume.

  1. Six to eight weeks out — if you have never had extensions. Book an ordinary set. Not a trial, just a set. You want to know how your own lashes hold extensions, whether your skin reacts to the patches, and how you feel about the weight, well before any of it matters.
  2. Three to four weeks out — the trial. A full set, mapped and photographed. Wear it for a week, see it in your own mirror and in your own photographs, and come back with notes. Changing a shape is a conversation; changing it three days before the wedding is a problem.
  3. Two weeks out — brows, if you want them laminated. Lamination holds six to eight weeks and looks its most natural after about a week, so two weeks out lands in the right place. Never the same week as the wedding.
  4. Three to five days before — the set. Full density on the day, and enough time left to adjust a length or a corner if you want to. We keep that slot open for brides.
  5. The day before — nothing. No lashes, no lamination, no new skincare, no first-time anything. If a set applied the day before goes wrong, there is no day left to fix it in.

If the wedding is already inside a week, say so when you book and we will work with what the calendar allows rather than pretending the ideal timeline is still available. A set three days out is fine. A set the morning of is a gamble we will talk you out of.

Which density

What photographs, and what disappears.

A camera flattens a lash line. Density that looks right across a room reads as almost nothing through a lens, which is why the set you want for a wedding is usually one tier above your everyday one — but only one.

  • Mega volume 6D+, $180. Strongest on camera. Needs a healthy natural lash underneath, and wants a refill at two weeks rather than three — which is fine when the date is fixed.
  • Volume 4D–5D, $170. Where most brides land. Full and dark in photographs, still soft in person, and it works on fine lashes.
  • Mix 2D–3D, $150. If you want texture rather than a dense line, or if the dress and the makeup are already doing a lot.
  • Classic 1D, $120. Honest answer: in photographs it often disappears. Beautiful in person, and the right choice if "you, but awake" is the brief.

Shape matters as much as density. A soft cat eye photographs as lift; a doll-eye map photographs as openness. Both are decided at mapping, free with every set — styles by eye shape are here.

The day itself

Twelve hours, a veil, and crying.

The three things brides actually ask about, answered plainly.

Crying Tears are fine Salt water does not dissolve a cured bond. What loosens a set is rubbing your eyes afterwards — so blot downward with a tissue, never wipe across. If you book the LED-cured bond, the set is fully cured before you leave the studio, so even the first day is safe.
The veil Lift it, don't drag it A veil caught on extensions is the single most common way a bridal set loses lashes. Lift it up and away rather than pulling it back over your face, and tell whoever is helping you to do the same.
Makeup Tell your artist in advance No waterproof mascara and nothing oil-based near the lash line — that rules out a lot of cleansing balms and some primers. Most makeup artists know; say it anyway, and a good one will be relieved they do not have to add mascara at all.

Humidity. A July wedding in New York is humid, and humidity is exactly what the LED-cured bond is for — it cures under the lamp instead of drawing moisture from the air, so the set does not depend on the weather on the day you booked. It is $20 on any tier. It is not hypoallergenic, and it does not make lashes last longer than your own shed cycle.

Bridesmaids and family

One client at a time — plan around it.

This is a private suite with one lash bed and no waiting area, so we cannot do a group in one sitting the way a salon floor can. What we can do is book consecutive slots across the same few days.

  • Each person books her own appointment — 90 minutes for a full set, 60 for a refill.
  • Tell us it is the same wedding when you book, and we will group the slots so nobody is travelling to Avenue P twice.
  • Anyone who has never had extensions should come three to four weeks out, not in the same week as the bride. A first set is not something to discover on a deadline.
  • First visit is $20 off for each of them too — it is per client, not per booking.

If a group on one morning is what you need, we will tell you honestly that a larger salon is the better fit, rather than overbook a room with one bed in it.

Brows too

Laminate two weeks out, not that week.

Brow lamination is $75, or $100 with shaping and tint, and it holds six to eight weeks. It looks its most natural about a week in, once the set has softened slightly — which is why two weeks before the wedding is the right date and the same week is not.

Shaping is done after lamination here, once the true shape is visible. Plenty of places do it the other way round, which is how you end up with a shape trimmed to a brow that was about to change.

Prices

Trial and set are both ordinary appointments.

There is no bridal surcharge here. A trial set is a full set at the normal price, and if it is your first visit it is $20 off like anyone else's.

Refill between the trial and the wedding? If the trial was three to four weeks out, a 60-minute refill at your tier's price gets the set back to full — but most brides book a fresh full set three to five days before instead, because a new set photographs more evenly than a refilled one.

Questions

What brides ask us.

How far in advance should I get lash extensions before my wedding?

Book the real set three to five days before. That is late enough that the set is still at full density on the day, and early enough that you can come back for an adjustment if a length or a corner is not right. Book a trial set three to four weeks before that, and if you have never had extensions at all, book an ordinary set six to eight weeks out so the wedding is not where you find out how your lashes hold them.

Which lash extensions are best for a wedding?

Usually one tier above your everyday set, because a camera flattens a lash line. Volume 4D–5D at $170 is where most brides land; mega volume 6D+ at $180 photographs strongest but needs a healthy natural lash underneath. Classic 1D is beautiful in person and frequently disappears in photographs — which is fine if that is the brief, but worth knowing before the day.

Will lash extensions survive crying at a wedding?

Yes. Tears do not dissolve a cured bond. What costs you lashes is rubbing your eyes afterwards, so blot downward with a tissue rather than wiping across. With the LED-cured bond the set is fully cured before you leave the studio, so there is no vulnerable first day at all.

How much do bridal lash extensions cost in Brooklyn?

The same as any other set: $120 classic, $150 for the 2D–3D mix, $170 volume, $180 mega volume, with the LED-cured bond $20 on top. There is no bridal surcharge, and a trial set is charged as an ordinary full set. First visit to the studio is $20 off, so a first volume set is $150.

Can bridesmaids have lash extensions done at the same time?

Not in one sitting — this is a private suite with one lash bed and no waiting area. What we do instead is book consecutive slots across the same few days. Mention that it is the same wedding and we will group them so nobody travels to Avenue P twice. Anyone new to extensions should come three to four weeks out rather than in the bride's week.

When should I get my brows laminated before the wedding?

If you want it, book it about two weeks out. Lamination holds six to eight weeks and looks its most natural around a week in, once it has softened slightly. The same week as the wedding is too close, and shaping is done after lamination here so the shape is cut to the brow you are actually going to have.

What if I do not like the bridal trial set?

Then it did its job. That is what three to four weeks of lead time is for — you tell us what was wrong, we re-map it, and the set you wear on the day is the second version rather than the first. Removal is $25 if you want it off entirely, or free if you book a new set the same visit.
